Graduated at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine (1993), Nuclear Medicine Specialist (2002), PhD in clinical medical sciences (Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb, 2011), associate professor, Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka. Education and international professional training at numerous international courses and institutions in the fields of nuclear medicine, management, quality management in healthcare, health promotion and digitalization of healthcare services. Postgraduate studies in Quality Management in Healthcare and Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education -“Executive Certificate in Digitizing Public Services” (2019).

Editor of three Croatian university textbooks; published more than 70 articles and book chapters; employed at the Croatian Institute of Public Health, the Department for Health Promotion; leader of the pilot project “Health at the Workplace” within the EU4health project Joint Action to Prevent Non-communicable Diseases (JA PreventNCD).
