Olympian and researcher committed to advancing the science of anti-doping. I combine first-hand experience as the first Croatian luge Olympian (PyeongChang 2018) and as a member of the Dutch National Luge Team, with academic expertise in exercise physiology, molecular biology, and multi-omics technologies. My PhD research focuses on validating transcriptomic biomarkers, alternative blood collection methods, and genomic profiling to enhance the detection of recombinant human erythropoietin (rHuEPO) and testosterone microdosing. Research conducted within CESAME (Centre for Exercise Science and Medicine) at Hong Kong Baptist University, in collaboration with international anti-doping laboratories.
