Nataša Manestar, a graduate economist and university specialist in public sector management, is the director of Thalassotherapija Crikvenica, a special hospital for medical rehabilitation in Primorsko-Goranska County. At the beginning of her career, she worked in the tourism sector, then she was a state auditor for 13 years, gaining valuable experience in auditing the state budget, local unit budgets and budget users. She took over the management of Thalassotherapija in March 2020 in challenging organizational circumstances – at the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, during which the institution played an important role in caring for patients with milder forms of the disease. Her most important motivation and mission is to successfully combine the long-standing tradition of Thalassotherapija Crikvenica’s healthcare activities, modern medical achievements and modern technology with the aim of further developing the hospital, constantly improving the quality of healthcare services and achieving the best possible treatment results.
