Viktor Peršić

Thalassotherapia Opatija

Prof. Viktor Peršić, MD, PhD, cardiologist and Director of the Special Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation Thalassotherapia Opatija.

Professor Peršić completed his specialization in internal medicine in 1999 and subspecialization in cardiology in 2009. Since then, he has been employed at Thalassotherapia Opatija, where he became Director in 2014. In his clinical and organizational role, Prof. Peršić has made a significant contribution to the development of cardiology services at Thalassotherapia, including the establishment of the Cardiac Imaging Center and the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

Throughout his career, he has served as President of the Working Group for the Prevention and Rehabilitation of Cardiovascular Diseases of the Croatian Cardiac Society. He has also held the position of Head of the Department of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka.
